  • Sharing tweets with links to valuable content or free downloads: these have a two times better chance of being retweeted.

  • Sharing tweets with just one hashtag: using just one hashtag was shown to increase engagement rates by 29 percent, however using more than one hashtag decreased engagement rates by 17 percent.
